Do it all on the computer! The revolutionary Red Pen Tool offers an exciting new way to examine students' digital work. Whether the task requires the student to create a presentation, word processed document, video, or audio file, the Red Pen Tool enables the reviewer to overlay their comments and marks directly onto the document through any Flash* enabled webbrowser.
Teachers create and assign tasks, including learning objectives and grading criteria. As students complete their work, they upload it to the Red Pen Tool. Work is then reviewed, graded, and compared to the learning objectives all within the browser. Students quickly see the feedback contextually within their work, and teachers have a way to easily assess student progress and learning. The Red Pen Tool is also available as a module for Moodle and other leading Virtual Learning Environments, with this version also capable of facilitating student self and peer-to-peer assessments.
