Here are the functions of each icon on the tool bar.
(Step 1) Create Fields – Create, change, or delete fields in a database.
(Step 2) Layout Fields – Organize fields into an attractive layout, set options for each field, add color, and label fields.
(Step 3) Enter Data – Add, delete, and change records. Enter text, numbers, pictures, video, or sounds to each record.
(Step 4) Browse Records – Browse through each record, or view them collectively in a spreadsheet-style view. Sort, search, analyze, chart, and graph data.
Main Menu – Look at a database, make a new database, or change an existing database.
New – Create a new database file.
Open – Open an existing database file.
Save - Save a database.
Print – Print the current record, or the list of all records, depending on which is the current view.
Cut – Remove the hi-lighted data from a field and place it on the clipboard.
Copy – Copy the hi-lighted data from a field and place it on the clipboard.
Paste – Paste the data from the clipboard, into the current hi-lighted field.
Undo – Undo the last action.
Redo – Redo the previously undone action.
Search Database – Look for all the records in the database that match specific criteria. Add a search term to set the criteria.
Graph Data – Build a chart or graph based on information stored in the database
