Learning how to write procedures is crucial to any aspiring logo aficionado.
Step 1 - On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Logo>Procedures to open the Procedures panel.
Step 2 - In the Procedures window click on New to open the Create a Procedure panel.
Step 3 - Type in a name for your procedure. For example, 'pentagon'.
Step 4 - Click Edit in the Create a Procedure panel.
Step 5 - Write your procedure within the squared brackets.
For example, to draw a pentagon:

Right 72
End]
Step 6 - Click the Run Procedure button within the Procedure Editing panel.
