Grade: K-12
Required products: Tool Factory Word Processor V2
Instructions
Tool Factory Word Processor functions just like pencil and paper. Your pencil is your mouse. Your paper is the big white area on the screen.

ENTERING TEXT ON THE PAGE
1) Click the cursor on the page.
2) Type.

Itís that easy. The text stays right where you put it. Now roll your mouse to a different spot and click-and-type in another area. You can click-and-type anywhere on your page.

TEXT BOXES
Each time you click down your mouse, you are automatically creating a new text box. Double-click on any line of text. A red box appears around it. Now you can drag-and-drop it anywhere on the page. There are also red handles for column width, and a green handle in the middle for rotation. It takes a few minute to get used to working with text boxes, but after a few mouse clicks youíll love the control!

EDITING EXISTING TEXT
When editing, be sure to FIRST double click on the text to get the red box around it. Then click inside the text box and start editing. If you skip the double-click, then the result will be that you will inadvertantly create a second text box.
