Tool Factory Workshop presents you with a variety of toolbars that you can use to customize your work to make it fun and exciting and to help keep students engaged. This tutorial will teach you how to personalize your toolbar to your liking.
Step 1 - Click on the Toolbar Control button in the upper left hand corner of the screen to open up the Toolbar Control panel. You can alternately get to this screen by pressing CTRL + Shift + T.
Step 2 - On the left hand side of the Toolbar Control panel you will see five different toolbar options: General, Highlighter, Table, Additional, Whiteboard. The General toolbar is already active. To activate the others all you have to do is click on them.
Step 3 - You can even take your customizing a step further. When in the Toolbar Control panel you can hit CTRL + Shift + T again to get a more advanced Toolbar control screen.
Step 4 - This screen allows you to choose which features you want to be included within the individual toolbars. Features that are active have a white background, and those that you deactivate have a grey background. You can still choose to deactivate entire toolbars as well. On the left hand side of the panel, all you have to do is remove the check by an active toolbar by clicking on it. When you're done customizing your toolbars close the Toolbar Control panel.
Now you're done customizing your toolbars. In countless combinations the different toolbars can provide you with excellent ways to produce creative projects for your students.
