Not only can you use Tool Factory Word Processor to link sound and animation, you can even use it to create a link to another file.
Step 1 - Select an object to act as the link button.
Step 2 - Click on the Links button in the Additional Toolbar then click on File.
Step 3 - Click Browse to search for the item you want to make the link to, then click Open to select it.
Step 4 - Click the option Closed Linked File When Current File Is Closed if you want the linked file to close when the Word Processor file closes.
Step 5 - Remove the tick from the Close box if you do not want the document you are in to close once the link is clicked on.
Step 6 - To open your linked file, just click on the object that you linked the file to and it will open.
Linking objects to files can be very handy if you have a handout associated with a picture that you would like students to complete. All you have to do is link the handout to the picture and when they click the picture they will be brought to the handout.
