Headers and footers are nice features to utilize. Teachers can have students add headers with their names or footers with citations for a research paper.
Step 1 - Select the object on the page that you would like to appear in the header or footer.
Step 2 - To bring up the Header/Footer panel press CTRL+Y on your keyboard or click Other on the Menu bar and then click Header/Footer from the menu.
Step 3 – Choose what pages you would like the header or footer to appear on and then you're finished!
It is important to note that if you move the header or footer on one page it will move for all the pages.
