Required products: Tool Factory Word Processor V3
So far, you've been able to mess around with different features involving objects on the page. But what if you wanted the page to be a different color? The place to look to fix that problem would be the Page Effects option.
Step 1 - First you must access the Page Setup panel. To do this, either click the Page Setup button in the Additional Toolbar or go to File>Page Setup.
Step 2 - Once the Page Setup panel is open, click on the Background tab and then the Paper Color option within the tab. This will then let you select a color to change the paper to.
Step 3 - If you want an image to be your background, drag an image into the Background tab where it says Tiled Image. Tool Factory Word Processor will take the image you choose and tile it across the page.
Step 4 - In the Page tab you can change three different things. You can adjust the scale to which the page appears on the screen, you can adjust the paper size, and you can change the layout to Portrait, Landscape, or Poster.
Step 5 - The Viewer tab lets you choose whether or not to hide the printer limits and allows you to remove the Menu and Toolbar from view by unchecking their tick boxes.
Those are your basic page effects. The next few tutorials will cover more in-depth page tools such as adding headers and footers and even page numbers!
