Images are an important facet to any presentation that is looking to become more eye-catching and engaging. This tutorial will teach you how to add images to a Tool Factory Word Processor document, giving you even more options to spice up projects with.
How to Add Images
Step 1 - Images are accessed from the Resource Bank. To access, the Resource Bank click on the Resource Bank button in the General Tool Bar.
Step 2 - Find the image you are searching for by either opening the folder the image is stored in within the Resource Bank or by using the Resource Bank's 'Search' function. To use the 'Search' Function, type the name of the image that you want into the 'Search' box and click 'Search' (Button with a Magnifying Glass on it).
Step 3 - Once you have found your image, all you have to do is drag it where you want on the page and then drop it.
Step 1 - Highlight the image. This can be done by left clicking on the image or holding the left click button on your mouse down and dragging the cursor over the image. A red dotted box will appear around the image.
Step 2 - To rotate the image, once the image is highlighted, left click on the green square in the center of the image, hold left click down, and rotate your mouse.
Step 3 - To enlarge or shrink the image, left click and hold any of the red squares at the corners of the image. Once this is done, drag your mouse away from the image to make it larger and towards the image to make it smaller.
Step 4 - To move the image, place the cursor anywhere on the image and a white hand will appear. Hold the left click button down on your mouse and drag the image anywhere you want. When you want to set it down, all you have to do is release the left click button.
Step 1 - Highlight the image using the same steps as above.
Step 2 - Click the Copy button on the General Tool Bar. Alternately, the image can be copied by holding control when the image is highlighted and then left clicking and dragging your mouse off of the image.

Step 1 - Click on the page where you would like the image to paste.
Step 2 - Click the Paste button on the General Tool Bar.
You can now add the ability to add images to your arsenal of Word Processor knowledge. Images can be especially useful for use with younger students; you could put many images on a Word Processor document and then teach the students about the images or ask them to describe the images.
