Required products: Tool Factory Word Processor V3
Now you have all these fancy tool bars and are chomping at the bit to put together an impressive presentation. Slow down, you're almost there, but now it's time to learn what the different tool bars do.
General Tool Bar
The General Tool Bar contains just what you would think it would contain: general functions that are not program specific. These functions include New Document, Save, Open, Print, Undo, Redo, Effects, Select All, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Speech, and the Bank.
Highlighter Tool Bar
The Highlighter Tool Bar lets you add color to the background of your text. This tool bar contains five different color selections and a Remove Highlight button in case you are not satisfied with the result of your work and wish to remove it.
Table Tool Bar
The Table Tool Bar is a convenient and easy way for someone to create a table on their Word Processor Document. This feature could be especially useful to math teachers trying to introduce their students to tables or to science teachers who are trying to group data from a class lab report.
Additional Tool Bar
The Additional Tool Bar is where you can find functions that edit things in and around the page. This tool bar includes these buttons: Page Setup, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Zoom, Record Sound, Link, Follow Over, Layout, Group Selection, Link Line, and Style.
White Board Tool Bar
The White Board Tool Bar is a smaller tool bar that only contains two options. It has a right click option, that when clicked causes the next click to be a right click even if you click the left mouse button. The second feature is the Control button. When this is clicked the computer acts like it would if you were to perform an action with the control key held down.
Now you have an introductory explanation to what these tool bars can accomplish. Later tutorials will show the in depth in-and-outs of them so you can really keep your student's engaged with every new presentation!
