Step 1: Open the Jodix software available for free download in the Download area of Tool Factory Podcasting.
Step 2: Click "Add Files".
Step 3: Navigate to where the WMA file is saved on your computer. You can select multiple files to convert at one time by holding down the CTRL key and selecting additional files. Select "Open".
Step 4: This will open the settings menu. The Input File is the location of the files that you have just selected. The Output File is where you would like th MP3 versions of the files to be saved. Click on the "save" icon next to the output file box if you would like to change the location where the files are saved. It will default to the same folder as the origional files. Click "Next".
Step 5: In the next settings menu you have the option to control additional aspects of the conversion. If you know how to do this proceed. Otherwise click "Next".
Step 6: In the next settings menu you can assign "ID3 Tags" to your files. This is used in iTunes when categorizing your music and podcasts. If you would like to do so just type in the boxes. Otherwise click "Ok". (If you have selected multiple files it will then prompt you to ask if you would like the same tags applied to all images selected. Click "yes" to continue.)
Step 7: This will open all files you would like to convert. Click "Start" to convert the files.
Step 8: The conversion process will begin and show progress by a green bar. Once completed it will ask if you would like to view the newly converted files. Click "Yes" to view the files.
Step 9: The folder will open with duplicate files for any WMA files now as MP3 or "MPEG Layer 3" files.
