Sounds can really spice up a project. Gather them off the web, or record voices for narration.
INSERTING A SOUND FROM YOUR DRIVE
1) Click the little plus + inside the sound field.
2) Browse the drive and locate the sound.
3) Click on the sound name.
4) Click "Open". The sound will insert into the sound field.
Both the Mac and Windows operating systems contain sound recorders. Even with an inexpensive $10 microphone, it’s easy to narrate projects and capture sound effects.
OPEN THE SOUND RECORDER
Win: The sound recorder is usually located in START > PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > ENTERTAINMENT > SOUND RECORDER
Click the “Record” button (red dot) and start talking. Click “Stop” and save the sound file to a location on the computer’s drive such as the “My Documents” folder.
Open Tool Factory Database and click the ENTER DATA icon. Then insert your sounds.
The sound won’t play until the user is in “Browse Records” mode. Click the step 4-BROWSE RECORDS icon and play the sound. Return to step 3- ENTER DATA, and build more records.
Print the step-by-step instructions.
