    Overview
Students place animals where they are most likely to be found in and around a pond. Each creature is then matched with its label.
    Instructions
    1) Open Junior MultiMedia Lab. Open the "Creatures at the Pond" application.
    2) Students click on the green arrow to run the application.
    3) Clicking on the button in the top right-hand corner will link students to directions page. There students can read (on their own or with the help of the teacher) directions for the activity.
    4) Students then click on the button that takes them to the next page. There, they begin clicking and dragging objects to place them where they think each creature would be found in a pond scene.
    5) Once each creature is placed where the student wants it, he/she can drag each label from the left next to the picture it belongs with.
    6) Students should save their work using their own name in the file name.
    7) To check their work, students may open the 'Creatures at the Pond with Key" application. The third page shows an example of how the creatures can be arranged in the scene, and shows the correct labels for each creature.
    Follow-up Activities
