MultiMedia Lab V Digital Camera (optional)
Students create a slide show of photographs organized around a particular theme or event.
1) Open MultiMedia Lab V. Select "Home" then "Slide Show." Click on "Create a new slide show." 2) Have students browse for photographs on the computer's hard drive or a floppy disk. Photographs will have been added from a digital camera or scanned in from traditional photographs. 3) If students want to create a slide show with more than 4 slides, they may copy and paste pages in the tree view. For example, they can copy page 4 and paste it to create page 5. The photograph from page 4 will also be copied, but can be replace with a new photograph by clicking on the camera icon in the right-hand tool bar and clicking on the page. Students can then select a new photograph and resize it to fit the slide. 4) Students may label their slides by clicking on the text icon in the right-hand tool bar and then clicking on the page. 5) Remind students to save their work. Click "Run" to see the slide show.
