Students take notes for articles to be submitted to their school newspaper or magazine. In addition to notes about the subject or event being reported, students conduct interviews, take photos, and record quotes.
1) Open MultiMedia Lab V. In the opening dialog box, select "General" and then the format desired. Click "Create a new application." 2) Click on "The Gallery" icon and select "Background" to choose a background for your page. 3) Enter text boxes, check boxes, list boxes, form buttons, and radio buttons by clicking on the "Form objects" icon in the toolbar to the right of the screen. 4) Format and label each object as appropriate for the purposes of the student and the school newspaper or magazine for which the notes will be entered. 5) To view an example of a template for taking reporter notes, open "Reporter Notes." 6) Remind students to save their work often. 7) Click "Run" to test out the page(s).
Using the notes entered, students compose articles for their school newspaper or magazine.
