    Overview
    Students use Tool Factory Database to collect, compile, and organize information about items for sale, pets, and jobs. Photos, films, and recordings may be added along with text and numerical values. The information can then be formatted into a classifieds page using Tool Factory Word Processor.
    Instructions
    1) Open Tool Factory Database and choose "Use a Database." Browse for and open "Classifieds Database."
    2) Students click on the "Entry Mode" icon and begin entering data into the fields provided.
    3) If students want to change the layout of the database or enter new fields, they may do so by clicking switching to the appropriate mode and making the desired changes. Students may also create their own Classifieds Database from scratch, using the template as an example.
    4) Once all the information necessary for the classifieds page of an edition of the school newspaper has been entered and saved, students open one of the two Tool Factory Word Classifieds templates and add the information into the appropriate columns. Pictures may be inserted from the banks or the hard drive.
    5) Remind students to save their work.
